Job Description

Our client has a current opening for a Branch Manager at their Saint John, NB facility. Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, the Branch Manager will be responsible for executing the organization’s strategy within the geographical division, as well as lead the overall day-to-day management of operations. Knowledge of the Technical Services (Non-Destructive Testing & Survey) industry, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and the ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic work environment is crucial.

• Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
• Years of Experience Required:
o 7-10 or more years of management experience, including P&L of a Branch
o Experience in Technical Services (Surveying and/or Non-Destructive Testing) industry will be considered an asset
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Collaborative “lead by example” team player with strong motivational skills and a desire to lead change
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient and effective operation of the branch
• Provide direction and vision to the staff
• Identify and implement Continuous Improvement projects to support company objectives
• Identify opportunities for growth and work with Sales Team to execute strategy
• Mentor and develop supervisors and technicians
• Responsible for overall branch profitability
• Oversee Inventory control processes
