Full-Time Sales Manager
Our client is Atlantic Canada’s largest heavy duty truck and trailer dealership featuring the most up-to-date dealer service bays in Southern New Brunswick. We are presently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join their team in Dieppe, NB. Our client contributes their success on exceeding customer requirements through continuously developing their team and their technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
-Work with vehicle sales and outside parts team to train and coach on new products, upcoming promotions, financing options and selling skills;
-Provide support to vehicle sales and outside parts staff during the sales process, including (not limited) to meeting each customer;
-Develop sales plans and strategies and monitor their progress on overall volume, close ratio, average sale, and margins;
-Defines market potential by analyzing market surveys and sales statistics; estimating volume and profit potential; preparing forecasts;
-Manage inventory of new and used vehicles;
-Improves market position by seeking out new accounts for new & used equipment sales;
-Develops sales volume by establishing sales policy, objectives, pricing, and discounts; assigning quotas; negotiating key contracts;
-Manage used vehicle process: appraise vehicles, determine recondition work needed, and resale value;
-Routinely meet with Managers and supervisors from other departments to discuss issues, concerns and process improvement;
-Maintains rapport with key customers by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; resolving problems;
-Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards;
-Run reports to assist in management of department, revenue, cost and staffing.
-Relevant post-secondary education and/or equivalent industry experience
-Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and team oriented
-Exceptional organization, decision making and problem solving abilities
-Well developed written and verbal communication skills
