Our client, a large well respected and established leading food manufacturer has an opening for a Vice President, Human Resources in Moncton, NB.

As an experienced, hands on proactive leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of HR professionals in executing effective and efficient HR services that drives company performance. Your comprehensive knowledge of leading HR processes, systems and programs, particularly around talent, employee relations and performance management is complemented by an ability to clearly articulate the company’s mission and values to all levels of the organization.

Your practical business sense and hands-on approach allows you to contribute to the operational and organizational success of the company. An exceptional influencer and communicator, you are adept at building relationships and promoting teamwork from the front line to the executive team. You are well versed in current HR best practices and have a proven track record for developing and executing strategies at an executive level, that support the company’s journey towards best in class people practices.

The Successful Candidate will possess the following attributes:
A university degree with a concentration in human resources, business, or related discipline;
A CHRP designation or equivalent;
10 to 15 years’ experience in HR leadership roles, ideally in a manufacturing, retail, or similar industry, with multi-site HR leadership experience and as a member of Business Leadership Teams;Previous experience working within a Shared Services business model is a definite asset;
Ability to travel in Canada and US.;
Strong personal credibility, collaboration, influencing and communications skills

Key Responsibilities of the Vice President, Human Resources:
Reporting to the General Manager, you are responsible for building and leading the implementation of Human Resources strategies, including establishing objectives and initiatives to support overall company strategic business plans for profitability and growth.
Participate as an executive team member on strategy and business planning, translating those strategic decisions into HR strategies and plans;
Collaborate with Corporate VP HR and other senior HR leaders across the organization to define and implement the HR strategic agenda;
Lead the implementation of recruitment, talent development, talent planning and performance development strategies for improving organizational bench strength.
