FINANCE LEAD

Are you a finance professional with a sharp analytical mindset and a passion for driving strategic business outcomes? Our client currently has an opening for Finance Lead to join their team in Saint John, NB.

As the Finance Lead, you will be responsible for delivering clear financial insights, building forward-looking models, and translating complex data into actionable recommendations. You’ll monitor both internal performance metrics and external market conditions to help steer the organization through an evolving economic landscape. From budgeting and forecasting to risk evaluation and regulatory compliance, your expertise will support key business strategies and outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze and interpret financial data to assess organizational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor economic trends and assess their implications for business planning and risk management.
• Build and refine dynamic financial models to support forecasting and scenario planning.
• Partner with senior leadership to inform budgeting, strategic initiatives, and operational reviews.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and compliance standards.

What You Bring:

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis in a corporate setting.
• A strong command of financial modeling and business performance metrics.
• An understanding of how economic factors influence financial outcomes.
• Advanced skills in Excel and financial systems (ERP experience a plus).
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence leadership.
• A CPA designation is considered a strong asset.
