We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales (Retail Chain) to lead the growth and performance of our client’s chain of retail operations. As the successful candidate you will be based at the head office and report directly to the General Manager, you’ll shape and execute strategies that drive sales, enhance customer experience, and strengthen their market position. This high-impact role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and team leadership.

 

You will be responsible for setting and achieving sales targets, optimizing profitability, and identifying new market opportunities. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, Purchasing, and Inventory, you’ll ensure alignment across all areas of the business. Your leadership will inspire high-performing teams, elevate customer service standards, and cultivate a strong, customer-first retail culture.

 

As the successful candidate, you bring a proven track record in driving sales growth, managing large teams, and delivering consistent results in fast-paced retail or consumer-facing environments. You have strong financial and analytical skills, deep market insight, and the ability to translate strategy into action.

 

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred. You have a minimum of eight years of progressive leadership experience in retail or consumer sales, with a strong record of driving revenue, managing budgets, and improving profitability. Proven leadership and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and lead large, multi-location teams. A deep understanding of retail operations and key performance metrics is also critical to success in this role.
