As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include guiding the effective use of solutions and architectures to achieve business outcomes and ensuring alignment with business requirements. You will provide architecture designs and recommendations to project teams, collaborating with business analysts to understand goals and support successful delivery. You will be responsible for designing, specifying, and selecting information system solutions, taking into consideration functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure, and performance.
Your role will also include ensuring alignment with overall application, information, and technology principles, and updating the Enterprise Architecture repository by maintaining impacted components, relationships, and attributes. You will lead the organization in leveraging emerging technologies to drive change and support business process design. Additionally, you will support software architecture design and assist development teams in delivering solutions, estimating costs, and preparing business cases for IT solutions that factor in infrastructure, licenses, development, and support.
To qualify for this role, you should have post-secondary education in computer science or a related field, along with 5-7 years of experience in a similar position and at least 10 years of professional IT experience. You should have experience providing technical direction, with a strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and cloud solutions. A solid grasp of architecting commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions, as well as expertise in web application architecture, emerging technologies, and industry trends, is essential. You should also possess a high degree of professionalism and exceptional attention to detail. TOGAF certification will be considered a strong asset.
